Form and architecture of a sandwich as a graphic taste of modernism

Sandwich presents a combination of certain food items combined under one structure divided into layers or levels. Every level is a graphic performance for itself. If we take that idea of levels and combine it with items and situations of daily life, as a result we create a graphic performance, and an architectural miracle of modernism and postmodern. By selecting items and objects form our environment and daily life, and by arranging them into a vertical composition, we create one decorative structure that looks like a totem, but it represents graphic translation of our life on modern times. Things that we would never consider to put into a sandwich, now we put with joy, and by that, we create one morbid and provocative composition of elements that has a large esthetic value. The art piece itself overcomes that association of sandwich, and it becomes a vertical composition of geometric and organic shapes and forms.
